Gym Policy
-
Risk
Please keep in mind that rock climbing is inherently dangerous. Be aware of your surroundings and ask a staff member if you need help. All climbers and observers must sign (or their parent/guardian must sign) a waiver and watch an orientation video before using our equipment and climbing walls.
-
Climbing
Do not climb under or too close to anyone. Plan your route down the wall before climbing, and please use the grey down-climb holds. Never climb higher than you are comfortable falling.
-
Falling
Please fall with caution. Bend your knees and refrain from sticking out your arms to brace the fall. This can lead to further injury. Roll backwards if the force of the fall requires it.
-
Chalk
Loose chalk is not permitted in our facility. Please use a chalk ball/sock and store it in a chalk bag. Liquid chalk is encouraged. Thank you for helping keep our air clean!
-
Shoes
Climbing shoes must be worn when climbing. Street shoes and bare feet are not permitted on the climbing walls. Bare feet are not permitted in our training spaces.
Climbing shoes are not permitted in the restrooms. Please change back into your street shoes before entering the restrooms.
-
Clothing
Climbers must wear shirts and shoes at our facility.
Youth Policy
-
Waivers
Kids under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign an online waiver on their behalf.
Parents and guardians should also fill out a waiver for themselves, even if they are only observing.
-
Active supervision
Children aged 12 and under must be actively supervised by an adult while climbing and cannot be left unattended under any circumstances. Children 7 and under should be within arms reach of an adult at all times, for their safety and for the safety of other climbers. Climbers must be 13 or older to use the fitness and training equipment.
-
No running, horseplay, or acrobatics
Reduce risk to yourself and those around you by walking in our facility. Avoid walking on the pads when you are not climbing; use the pathways between the pads.
Do not walk under another climber.
