Frequently Asked Questions

  • In a modified redpoint style competition, each division will be assigned a set number of boulders to climb, and you will count all of them toward your cumulative score. You will be awarded partial credit if you make it to certain points on the climb. You can try to boulders as many times as you’d like in the three-hour time period. However, you won’t be allowed to “project” the climbs move by move; you have to climb them from the start on every attempt.

  • We recommend signing up for the division that reflects the grade range you can successfully climb (send) in a single climbing session.

Keep in mind you will have three hours to try all the boulders in your division!

  • Yes! We have a beginner category that includes grades VB through V2. This is the perfect category for beginner climbers! You do not need to have been climbing for a long time to participate in a community competition. This will be a fun event for everyone!
